Norðurpóllinn means North Pole in Icelandic. Once upon a time there was a Hotel Nordpolen in Ísafjörður which was a real hub for adventurers and travellers. We've recycled the name (not the location), and now it's the studio space of photographer Haukur Sigurdsson. It also hosts the world's smallest cinema, where we sometimes have little community events. Norðurpóllinn is located in Hafnarstræti 5, in the heart of the Westfjords. Welcome by!
